 I'm really expecting much with this but thought I'd enter it anyway.

I'm a bit unclear on what constitutes as advanced edited cos this is only my second entrance but I made part of the background black (you could see a tiny bit of the work surface), changed the saturation, lighteness, applied a slight softglow, re-sized it and sharpened.

The hands have a slight yellow cast. I like the photo, so if the yellow was intentional, dismiss the comment.

A bit more of a dramatic twist would have worked well on this. I would have moved the angle of the lightingt to get some shadows working for you.

the WB seems to be off, the skin tone appears very yellowish

This would look a lot better as a high contrast black and white.

I'd like to see all of both hands in focus, or at least a much deeper DOF. The hands also look a little too yellow to me.

cropped way too closely at bottom and left, overall yellowish cast. unpleasant to the eye.
