 This is my hubby's and baby Jackson's hand. Jackson, not quite 2 yet, has already developed an obsession with "beeball", just like his dad (our son) and my hubby. He would play with his little glove and ball every minute he's awake if we could keep up with him :)

Well. . .it was Jackson's 10 little kissed toes that gave me one of my most successful photos ever. I hope his little hand at least has a good showing :) My son has already asked for a framed print of it -- so I guess that's all the validation I really need, isn't it :)

This is a very touching and amazing photo. I think that had the challenge been something about growing up, or childs love, it would have probably won.

I thought this was the nicest hand in hand shot in the challenge. Tells a wonderful story of gentleness as even though your husbands hand is (obviously) stronger than Jacksons its position (with the curled two finger) is actually softer than Jacksons thrusting hand, which creates a cool counterpoint to their actual hand sizes and skin toughness

(Does that make any sense?)

this is a -beautful capture- of hands, young and old alike- as well as capturing an intimate moment between a 'student and mentor' the grasp on the balll is a strong one-and the gentle fingers of the other hand seeming to either lift, or give the ball-just speak of the whole overall 'moment' the black background makes the iamge pop beautifully and the textures and tones are amazing! :) I -adore- this pic ~~~10~~~

I like so many things about this picture. Technically it's great. The ball adds so much. Keeps it from being just another another picture of "hands". And the title brings it all together. This is my favorite of the challenge.
