I find the tea house just fascinating; I've never seen one before. The white structure creates good contrast and somehow the grey day adds to the overall moodiness of the shot. |

The mansion seen through the trees is very compelling. Beautiful shot. |

Nice pic, nicely composed to draw you through the frame and a well done b&w conversion, nice job. |

This is a lot of picture. The light is perfect for all that you show, and I think the sharpening works well for all the textures. I'm a sucker for bare trees, and here you've just sprinkled them about your great composition with a Great Hand. |

nice perspective and I like the fact that the front building is so white in contrast to the grays in the background. |

wonderful lines, it was as if the composition was made by a painter, perfectly laid out. |

I love the angle you chose - the teahouse with the estate beyond. Makes for a nice juxtaposition, and the stream provides an excellent leading line back to the estate. I think the grey day served you well in this instance. I think there may be just a bit too much sharpening for my taste, but I tend to undersharpen. |

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet but...great composition. :)
Foreground, background, the path, it all comes together very nicely. And I'd love to see some shots of the estate in the background. |

Superb composition that takes my eyes from the gazebo to the stream and toward the estate. It just works. The twigs and branches also serve the composition well by filling in an otherwise dull sky. |

the leading lines of the path, the brightness of the tea house and the placement of the house in the background is excellent - i just wonder if this image was a bit oversharpened |

Wonderful composition: curving path contrasting with straight lines of the gazebo, a background of soft dark shades setting off the congregated whites of the main subject, distinct archetectual details against the jumbled twigs and branches of nature. Great choice for black and white image, and over all very well done! |
