I am thinking of selling my Sigma 105... now I want to keep it!!

Yes I see that 'added' space if indeed it is just that. Lovely shot and well lit. There are lines or hairs around the chin that could be cloned out. Well thought out portrait.

the glow created on the face is excellent but there seems to be a bit of heavy burning around the face that i can see clearly on my screen

Beautiful. (And yes, it appears you've added space to the left but with pure black and there's a visible difference on lighter monitors between that and your photographed background.)

Nice portrait. I really like the lighting. I like the catchlight in the middle of her eye. But what's the deal with the line of abrupt difference between the background and the space of pure black over on the left third of the shot? It just looks unnatural.

Great lighting here!Also, the clarity in the face is really nice. I've been trying to this kind of lighting all week but haven't managed to yet :(
