 Taken near sunset, used flash fill at 1/200 sec. and f6.3, lens at 135mm. Handheld while trying to keep the dogs from walking all over the flowers.

Processed in Raw
- small curves adjustment, to brighten the whites.
- small fill light adjustment
- increased shadow contrast
- decrease just a tad the highlight contrast
- saved as jpg

In Photoshop
- crop
- created a curves adjustment layer, with no adjustment, set blend a multiply, masked the layer, then used the gradient tool to reveal and thus darken the edges around the entire image.
- the left side of the image was still to bright for me so I did another curves adjustment, and repeated the last one, this time just using the gradient tool on the left side of the image.
- Unsharp mask twice
- resize
- Unsharp mask
- save image.

This has a very delicate feel. I like your crop with the larger negative space balancing the smaller subject.

I love those purple stamen in the center...great eye to find this they are small!! And so gladyou didnt squish them by mistake!

Fantastice shallow DOF. Love the deep rich colors of the forest floor because it makes the small white flowers pop. Great capture of the white. I like how you have it composed.
