Not sure I agree with the concept of pointing any gun at anyone, even empty. But since you did- it might be a bit more dramitic if the site was lined up with his eye and you cropped it in just a bit more. I am curious though- did you want the gun out of focus? I think if someone had a gun to there head- the would look at the gun- not the person. IMO

This is just ok for me.. I do like the intense look in the eyes.

This image might have a bigger impact if taken a little closer to the barrel. Also extend the depth of field just slightly to include the muzzle and the face.

Nice depth of field but the eyes are rather blank and dead. 5

I hope the gun wasn't loaded.

Comment only - I really dislike having guns pointed at me, even if only in a photograph. This meets the challenge, but if it isn't scoring as well as you'd like, it may be that others share my dislike and are voting. You will also get those who want the gun in focus (which of course would miss the point of the picture - to me it's the person behind the gun, not the object itself.)

Can't help thinking it should be a revolver! Good picture

Nice shot. The contrast of the photo gives it some aging and the borders give you the feeling that you are watching a wild west movie.

I like how the DOF keeps the gun slightly OOF.

I like the concept. Good composition. The color/lighting is a little too subdued for my taste. I also think it might have been better with the focus on the gun instead of the face because that is where you normally focus whenever a gun is pointed at you. :)

It's "you're" not "your" -- sincerely, the anal retentive grammar person.

Intimidating.

I like this shot. It would work better if the gun was in focus, and the man was either out of focus or just fading out of the plane of sharpness. Right now, it conflicts with the 'language' of having a gun pointed at you--the man is interesting, but the gun is what matters!
