I cheated for day 3 as the weather sucked and I struggled with a macro shot using some extension tubes. :o( So, I decided to convert this to b&w since so many commented on preferring more in b&w.

I think I prefer this B&W version slightly more than the color. I feel this one is just a tad bit more emotive.

Emotive and sad...she wants to join in and play. I love the DOF.

I like them both. The b&w adds a bit more of emotion to it.

I agree, the black and white helps with definition. Nice moody shot.

Sad and wistful. I like black and white - it distinguishes the shapes and tones.

Think I prefer the colour version better Amanda. Nice in B&W but for me hasn't got the same impact.

This image really tells a story. Great use of DOF and a really nice choice for B&W.

Very nice B&W. I hope the girl in the forefront got to play with the others eventually, and not left out on the fun.

ahha .. cheater !!! ..
still a brilliant image whether i colour or i b&w .. maybe the b&w gives more of a sombre feel .. a feel of being left out ??.. but really, i like them both equally .. :)
