I love these unusual finds! Sometimes I think they are just meant to be there, with no particular reason. Either that or somebody just dumped it! |

Looks to me like the farmer wanted a spare tire handy for when he was working out in the field and he blew a tire... Well, in any case, nice job capturing a great image. I like the shadow down in the corner. Kind of completes the picture. |

LOL, it's funny the things that we find interesting sometimes! I agree, it would make a nice frame. |

Dang, you mean things like this actually could possibly have a purpose. This could so easily pass for a scene in Western North Carolina. . . . |

I saw a tire by the road
it made me think
how did it get there
why was it not in use
is a car missing a ride
is the driver stuck somewhere? |

Nice shot, I would probably have gone for including the whole shadow in the composition, but that's me. |

I like how the shadow looks like a bow-legged cowboy. Cool find. |

Off-center composition is nice. I like the deformation of the shadow. I get like that too sometimes, just want to go and take pictures of anything. Some part of my brain sees a relationship or a cool angle or something, so I snap it. A little while later I'm looking at it in LR and thinking "What was I thinking?" :-) |

Ummm... field ornament? Someone left it behind and it's patiently waiting for them to return? Prankster cows? :-) |

Maybe it's a circle of life thing...in a weird, farm-hand kind of way. Whatever the purpose, well-seen. :) |

Some folks can turn anything in to a good photo... and you are one of those folks! Well done. |

:) I admire artists so much who "see" stuff like this -- and turn the ordinary into art. Not that a tire as a lawn ornament is totally ordinary. . .but you know what I mean. :) Verrrrry nice!!!!
