 Thought of warm colors and started to think of colors sweating because of the heat...so I put a propane torch below it and before I knew it, I was getting large flames from the burning wax.

All crayons glued together with a metal pipe holding them in the air (in front of a black background)

Nice literalism. I think I would rather not see the burner and it is a bit oversharpened for my taste.

wouldn't the fire melt the wax in the crayon.

Loving the idea!-very clever. I also like the way you've captured a falling drip. Perhaps more melting would've made it even better, and also if you'd framed the flame on the left.
