 Thought i'd try something a little different that involves something from work. I have some red silica beads that I use for drying chemicals, and I thought they could make a nice picture.
As always, the light isn't great by the time I get home from work, but did an OK job (not expecting any medals though, lol!). Another picture I took with no white background, but just skylight (through shutters!) gave much better vibrance of colours and much better clarity. Will have to try that again sometime.

Imported the RAW file, played around with the levels, cropped an appropriate region, added a small black border and larger white border.

Love the warm colors, and the stacking makes for a lovely gradient. Lots of abstract shapes and bits of darker colors here from the overlap. A wonderful and unique idea... well done!

I'm not crazy about the subject matter but I like that the warm colors lighten up gradient style towards the top.

Nice color and texture. The border is not bad around most of it, but unfortunately draws my attention to the darkening of the background in the upper left.
