 This was taken very close to the same time as my free study entry. My free study entry actually was taken 7 minutes after this. The colors that morning were amazing and it was worth getting up before 5 a.m. on a Saturday to go shoot it. lol

That's it. Thanks for looking. I'm going to do another score estimate. between 6.2-6.5 is my guess.

Great warm colors here, and I like the way the pier leads out to the lighthouse. I'm not sure if I would have preferred the sun to be completely behind the lighthouse, since it feels a bit off with it only peeking out from one side. Looks like the clouds cooperated here too, giving just a touch of interest to the sky.

While I really do like this shot, I think it would be much stronger if the lighthouse wasn't so centered.

Good sky and silhouette. I think your lighthouse may be too centered. I think maybe a vertical crop w/ the lighthouse off centered could help the composition.

Good use of the lighthouse to partially block the sun. Some optical illusions going on here. The horizon seems slightly tilted to the left, and the lighthouse appears to have a slight right lean. I'm pretty sure it all has to do with the various angles in the photo...

Nice timing for this image to capture the strong reds. Good luck in the challenge.

nice idea, seems just a weeee bit tilted to the left which seems distracting to me. may be an optical illusion, i didn't get out my ruler... still good photo
