 lighting was from above, I filled 3 "warm" colored cups with approx. .25 inch of water. I wanted to enhance the "warm" colors so I tried to keep the cups out of focus. I think this gives a warm radiating glow through out the pic and also lights the rugged wood grain nicely. I like this pic because it recreates the "warm" moody atmosphere of the room very accuratly. When I look at it, I'm right back in the same moment of capture. If I could change any thing, I would crop out some of the upper portion to draw attention to the glow of the wood grain. Thats my opinion, let me know what you guys think.
I raised the contrast and brightness slightly in photoshop for editing.

I would have liked to see more of the wood grain detail. Looks a bit pixellated in the upper left.

the image is fairly noisy which leads me to believe there wasn't enough light to focus properly. i think the right place to focus would have been the water droplets on the glass, not the wood underneath it.

Needs some interest. A little vague and dull, unsharp.
