What a beautiful picture! I love how I can see shafts of light or maybe rain in the clouds on the right side of the picture. The lighting is beautiful. Sunset perhaps? Nice vanishing point with the walkway. It is almost as if one could walk right out on to the water. I think I would have tried to crop the metal bar out of the lower left corner though. |

I do a lot of beach shots, and I know the difficulty in getting the exposure & color just right. The pier leads my eye right to the middle of the picture and then I get to explore the canvas and all the textures and details. Well done. |

What a very pleasing seascape here, and I love the leading line and the perspective of this very fine image..... |

well, you did this so well...I just want to be running down the right there in that sand, straight into the ocean!!
what a great variety of depth, color and textures, really makes me miss the shore.

Great shot. that little thing in the left does just kinda jump up and grab you though. :) dust bunnies are my bane. |

Just gorgeous...I can't add more than what's been said already. I agree about the lower left corner, especially...it distracts the eye from the beautiful scene and fabulous colors. |

Roger, this is absolutely beautiful. What wonderful drama in the sky with that cloud on the left looking almost sinister. The one person in the photo (and could that also be a child?) adds a touch of humanity. Wonderful capture. |

I like the perspective of this shot with the boardwalk entering in the ower right and heading out to the sky, the only thing that bothers me is the pole in the lower left of the image interupts the flow. I do see that you needed to have it to encompass the whole boardwalk, but maybe next time you can figure something out for it.
I really like the lighting and the tonal range seen in the sand, and the cloud formations are really nice. There are a few dust bunnies in the sky that you should clone out when you have a second.
Very beautiful shot. |

What is it about an "endless " pier? It seems so poetic and sad to me. I like your use of negative space. Great sky. (is it slightly tilted to the right? or did you use a fisheye?) |

This is so beautiful - Love how the pier seems to stop so suddenly. |

Nice work. If you stooped just a bit lower, you could have lined the end of the pier up with the horizon and had a really neat vanishing point. Still a nice shot with good pp.
edited to add you might want to clone out the sensor dust in the sky
