Quite strange seeing this, even though it is a pretty famous landmark, as a similar photo was entered in my local photography societies annual print competition. The phenomenally deep depth of field is key to the success of this phot, I feel, combined with the impressive level of detail in the cathdral itself. Excellent work. |

been there, done that! a great vantage point from the hundreds of steps to the top of the tower...hope you are fit! I bumped my lenshood of me 18-200VR near the top squeezing through the tight passages and I broke it...it still works OK...did you see the mark I left behind on the wall though? :)
OK, the image now, just think the dodge and burn lets this down, other than that, nice |

aah, firenze, beautiful city, been there a few years back.
really like the warm cororing you chose here, maybe just a little too much processing in the clouds...
otherwise great shot |

This has a very complimentary border. It definitely helps enhance the mood of the sky. -BB |

Ahh, the Duomo, one of my favorite places. Beautiful capture. |

Nice crop and placement of the horizon. Looks like an interesting place but it is a little busy for me. I am trying to focus more on the building in the foreground but find myself trying to pick out the details in the background. |
