| I can't stop looking at this. The detail is absolutely amazing!!!! I really like how the wasp and flowers pop against that darker background. |

| What makes this shot for me is the size of the thing and those colors. The deep blue on the body works great with that dark background. It's going to be a good month to see you give that lens a workout. |

| Ahh I see now it's Roz, Katee and Greg out walking on the firetrail now! Nice macro image great to see something so close up that I would never have the opportunity to before. |

| That's kinda cool...his body blends into the stems and looks as if there is one contiguous circle. There is a blue tint to the blacks in the image on my monitor; perhaps bringing down the blue curve could help. Good clarity. |

| Very cool how the wasp closes the loop to form the triangle of sorts. The eye looks like a cut jewel - never knew that of wasps before. |

I think you are mistaken, Greg. He's a real wasp. :>) Nice macro, though a little bright on the highlights (probably due to the time of day). Interesting composition - almost a full circle.

OHmy!!! Between you and Roz, I am so looking forward to an up close and personal look at that fire trail. This is awesome! Except now I'm even more sick that I can't afford a macro lens for a while yet. :)

WOW WOW WOW another great macro from that amazing firetrail..... I think I know someone else who embrases a fire trail to take amazing macros.....
I really love the way the wasp is really clinging to the flowers for balamce to devour any food it can find. The detail is excellent..... Well done mate.....
I so look forward to seeing many more images from you in this side challenge..... |

love the way it looks like he's nearly embracing that 'flower' and hanging on the other one with his hind legs .. the dark blue colouring in the background is very dramatic and interesting .. especially combined with the blue of his body and the yellow/green of the plants .. great contrasts ..
also the bug and the plant he's on form a very pleasing design in the frame . :)xx |

| Very cool shot! I myself am petrified of stinging bees and biting wasps and would have never pulled off such a wonderful shot. |
