 The Image; Being a real black and white guy these days, I thought I would try something a little colourful!

The Edit: Nothing too exciting. Did a duplicate layer and used soft light as the blending mode...some burning, noise ninja, some selective blurring...I like the image overall.

Prediction: will it get to six?

Post Challenge: An OK result I guess...I had a better one, but after so much editing, I just didn't see it and entered this. Thanks for the votes everyone...

This caught my eye as I just received an arrangement for my birthday that had tulips in it. The pictures I tried to take have nothing on ths. Beautiful. I love the soft focus and how it lets the colors and lines take center stage.

beautiful, the perfect DOF teases you into wanting more sharpness but it's up to your mind to make it up. My only comment is that the background is a little distracting

For me the softness of focus in the overall image coupled with the pastel colors create a very pleasing image with the curves of the petals.
