 Some sort of silo at a cement plant. There was never anyone there to ask.

I finally found out what this is. It is a water tower and the outside looks like that because of insulation. They couldn't say why it was orange though.

I have no idea what that is.. and that's part of the attraction. Nice composition. This feels like a sunset with no sun. Great use of thirds. The simple border helps too.

This is a startling image. Can it be true? It certainly looks it. The contrast between the blue sky and the pillar is very telling, and the rather drab colour of the soil and rocks throw it into sharp relief. Very good. I also like the fact that it is confined to the left hand third of the picture.
