These grey skies are a mixed blessing. Good for the depressed look. Good to prevent 255/255/255 pixels. But not terribly good for sharp focus or for clean photos. None-the-less, they are true to life. I think that guy fishes there almost every day. I bet he has a wife indoors that he needs to get away from ;-) |

I know that location well. Maybe he has a striper. I find it easier to catch a live one from the tanks in Chinatown though. Glad to see a familiar image. Mixed curves therein. |

very nice shot, but not sure if the fishing pole is the main focus here, I would have liked to see one of the towers of the Manhattan Bridge in a tight crop tho, and maybe you would meet the theme.. 5 |

Nice one! I like the way the suspension wires(?) on the bridge reflect the curve in the rod! : ) |
