| I gave it an 8. I'll add that there was a lot of detail and bold color in this that I liked. I think what probably hurt it in voting was most took the composition to be fairly deadpan. |

| I liked it during voting - had an intriguing combination of patterns. I think to score higher, though, it needed the proverbial "more". Maybe set it at more of a diagonal to create some energy. I don't know. But do note that those who liked it REALLY liked it - look at the difference between the commenter average and your score - and that was with a reasonable number of commenters! The more I look at it, the more I see another option should you want to play some more. If possible, set it horizontally and shoot down between the yellow lines, with the coil as the arches overhead. Might be kinda cool that way, like a minature highway with bridges crossing it. |

| good fulfillment of the challenge. to get a really high score from me, I think I'd need the background to contribute more to the composition. Even when it's OOF, a background can contribute shape and texture to a photo. |

| Nicely done! Great contrast with the yellow lines bisecting the circular pattern. I also like how it's sharp, then oof, then sharp, then oof. And of course you have very beautiful bokeh here! |

| Looks like a gas hose perhaps? Really bold and lots of detail in this. I like seeing unique views of everyday objects. Good work on this one. |
