Although "intimacy" can infer privacy, I think the most common usage refers to close contact or connection with another person. In short: close friendship or love, sensual or otherwise. This photo (lovely as it is) could be seen as the opposite of that, since there is an objectified quality. A woman undressed for you in a bedroom might be intimate, but a woman posing on a public beach in eye-catching colors is not.

seduction is not necessarily intimacy, at least in my opinion. i like the colors thoguh, and the grass

I love this shot. The colors are great. The titillation is wonderful. I just can't quite get the photo and the title to fit into "Intimacy" for me, though.

Ok, I get it now. She's acting like a peacock - with all the bright colors and such - to attract her intended mate (who is very difficult to see). If she succeeds, then intimacy is the implied result. Ok, I'm bumping it up a bit. Love her assets and love the colors.

The photo is fabulous, and in another challenge I would likely rate it an 8 or so. But intimacy to me implies a connection between two people or critters... Not getting that at all from this.

Great colors, beautiful skin tones. I love the detail you got in the sky... I'd love to know more about how you did it. Composition is great, lighting works well. One small thing for me is that I think of intimacy as a connection between two people, although I understand this situation could lead to intimacy, but that aspect is missing. Still very well done!
