 This is my wife and me, she's 16 weeks pregnant with our first baby and we're really chuffed to bits.

I shot this in a makeshift studio in my office as I didn't have a chance to get her into my actual studio.

One Elinchrom D-Lite2 with a small softbox to left and behind my wife and the camera on a tripod on timer.

Hope this does well as I really feel it fits the challenge

Wow!! This has been creeping up all week from the low 6's and to finish top 5 is amazing!!

Obviously the image means a lot to me and is part of a series I am doing each month but to get such a good score and comments is just fantastic, thank you

Could be sharper, but this is a wonderful shot of a beautiful time. You might get lower scores because it's been done so often... but I never tire of the emotion.

Love the lighting & border. Would've preferred the lady's bottoms to be less busy, so as to match the rest of the image's smooth textures & flow.
