50-500 Sigma @ 500mm, monopod mounted.

Something had this lion all riled up. He was running and leaping all over the place. I have numerous shots of him on the lower levels, but only a couple of him up top (where I could get eye level instead of shooting down).

The leaves across one side of the face are most likely going to be the big issue with this. Will be fun to watch! :-)

The fact that part of the face is covered (including one eye) takes something away from the photo. Also, light was kind of flat, requiring more processing to bring out textures and increase the "impact" of the image...
