Try to shoot RAW. Then, white balance will NEVER be a problem. It is MUCH easier to correct with a RAW image. |

Thanks for all the advice.. however I do actually understand white balance. It's clear I don't understand how to please ppl though. I purposely tricked the white balance in this shot and used a warm up filter on my flash and I add the grain post-production. I just like the old twee look it gave. I have no excuse for the flash mark
... I'll stick to b&w next time! |

I like the idea of this shot it's just that it's very grainy and a little OOF. |

The white balance in this photo is way off and the graininess is very distracting. I obviously don't know what camera you are using, but check the manual to see if you can adjust the white balance setting. Typically, there is a setting for indoor lighting (sometimes called tungsten or represented by a light bulb symbol). In that setting, you will get much more natural colors. |

The lighting just kills this sweet shot. The flash can only do so much.
2 things that may help this photo. A dose of noise removal and turn into a b@w so the flash colors are not so harsh. |

Golly - how 'bout that white balance! Definitely meets the challenge, though. |

Too grainy and yellow to be really good... and the flash mark on her cheek distracts me. |

Although a bit yellow and grainy...you've captured a genuine moment... |

Nice feeling and great warmth between the two. How did you manage the faded 70's print look. |

It is a very noisy image...and the color seems a bit off. I am sure you have some comments about that already though. |

Nice shot. I d prefer a black and white or a sepia tone rather in post processing. |

Grainy and noisy, not to mention the color cast are major issues with this photo. |

Definitely conveys a sweet genuine intimacy. I love the expressions and the chemistry between these two. Personally I don't find the grain and the orange tones to be pleasing and IMO they take a lot away from this beautiful shot. |

Very nice pose, but it's very noisy and needs better lighting. It has sort of a whiterook look to it. |

Great expressions. The yellow cast and noise are overpowering. |
