Sometimes the inclusion of a figure tends to make a shot look like a 'snap', at other times is can help the picture come to life. I think it would have helped here.
and made a very good shot even better.

This would have been neat if you were just a little lower and to your left and shooting more up.

clean and simple like the stairs going up and the composition is it a bit mid dayish? maybe dusk or dawn would make this have more of an impact 8

great color. i'd love to see some tighter crops on those stairs, as those seem to be the most interesting part of the photo (to me, anyway)
