Very cute boy! In my opinion this challenge was all about fun. I think you have that here. I think maybe it would have scored better with a different background so that it seemed more like a real mugshot. Tell him to grow a beard for the next mugshot challenge! :)

not really a mug shot, per se. and if i had to guess i would say he is probably a real sweetie.

He looks like a little kid playing dress-up. No sense of attitude or defiance here, just a nostril shot....no tats, no piercings, no stubble ...everything looks way too new.
In real mug shots they make you remove headgear and any type of glasses. He'd be more convincing against a plain backdrop, some makeup if he's not yet old enough to grow stubble, no shades, no do-rag, a much scruffier jacket and a direct glare at the camera.
Try your local charity shop for inexpensive props, like a leather jacket that's seen a lot of use. Good try.
