 This is an image taken from my kitchen floor, of a fluorescent lighting set. It was turned off at the time; the only light source was a speedlight flash and some indirect incandescent light.

I wanted to capture the pattern of the burned out bulbs in the light; before I replaced them. That pattern, along with the triangle-textured baffle shell of the unit; I believe provides depth, and a sense of duality.

Meets the challenge , only problem is that subject (especially) & lighting is not exciting enough to convince the voter to vote higher. 6

hmm...there is a pattern here but it is quite ambiguous, and lack of a focal point doesn't help.

Never knew fluorescent lighting diffusers could be attractive.
