I kind of like the DOF on this. It is certainly a pattern, but there is really nothing that draws me in. If there were some small element in one of the corners for instance, there would be some place for my eyes to go. A pattern alone has to be pretty intriguing to stand alone.

DOF is reasonable and expected for such a close shot at an angle. The colors are a little dull, however. Some curves adjustments would really bring out the color and details.

I'd have liked a tad more sharpness and contrast on this. Nice texture and I like the shallow depth of field.
