Thank you all for your kind comments. This building is really different and fun and quite orange. I was going to post a picture of a tomato on an orange plate for this challenge. The week-end of the end of the challenge, a friend of mine from California was in Chicago and wanted to see post-modern architecture - so we drove around the city and saw this building - the new campus center of the Illinois Institute of Technology at Chicago's south side. I of course took a lot of pictures, dropped my nice tomato pictures and submitted this one. I just wanted to share this with you. More pictures and coverage at IIT's official website at //www.iit.edu/mtcc/news/ and I also posted outtakes in my profile. Again, thanks and hope you enjoy this building as much as I did.

I'm back to add this to my favorites. I really like this a lot. I do agree with some of the other comments that it could benefit from some careful cropping but I also think it is very good how it is. Keep up the good work.

I have no idea how you achieved this. The orange and blue are great complementors. And the transition of the reflection from gray to orange is entertaining. Even the sun behind the clouds is not badly overexposed like one would expect. Good work and it shows.

This was definitely one of my favorites, I actually have a shot very similar but with different color combinations.

strange geometry, plus the parallax error... :(

less of the blue at the top would have made your picture even better IMO, nice idea.

Great composition, and your border adds a bit to the photo overall. Could be a little cleaner if you took the shot from an angle where the lines don't curve or slant a much.

I don't think the blue on top was necessary, and is actually distracting. when I scroll down to eliminate it, it looks better. cool reflection!

This has a really cool Mondrian style to it. The blue sky and almost-neutral bottom windows are a great fit against the orange. I think it would be interesting to see what this would look if you took a shot from further away and zoomed back in so that the perspective isn't as strong. Just curious. It would probably ruin the reflections though.

Fun composition. Wish the building lines were all straight up in the frame of the composition.

I'd like to know how you have two tones in the reflections. Neat effect. I like the blue sky, but I might like the photo even better with the sky cropped out.

This shot has a lot of appeal to me, but I really wish it were a much tighter crop, no blue and less on sides, I think you really saw something neat here. I would love to see some retakes or edited with the tight crop.
