This image seems a little soft, almost like you had a soft focus filter on it... Nice stop action of the ball and bat. I'd love to know how far away you were and what equipment you used for this one. |

Looks like you got a little happy w/the Gaussian Blur. |

Good capture, and a fine layout for a magazine. The ball and foreground have an overprocessed look to them, though. |

You were playing third? Right?! Very nice. One of my favorites so far. |

Nice capture. I know I kep giving the same comment, but great DOF. Awesome timing too to have the ball in the shot. Photo would have looked kind of goofy without it. I like the crop with the grass and soil in the foreground. |

Great timing, great shot, and the blurred out audience is a perfect place to put the magazine logo and type. |

I would say that this is what I would expect to see on the cover of aBaseball digest 7 |

Wow, absolutely brilliant capture to get the ball in the frame (and if its photoshopping, nice work too) I can really see the magazine title and features text sittle comfortably within your submission. Excellent work. |

I think the blur is unnatural, I can see it obviously. a great captured anyway. |

Crystal clear. Love it, you have captured the moment perfectly. |

Bizarre. The players look like they are the same size as the fans in the background. |

Great shot. The background is out of focus enough that text would fit in nicely there. Nice crop too. |

I like the blurring of the audience the perfect timing of the ball (very tough to do) and the crisp focus of the players (and plenty of space for the text and title) One of my favorites this challenge |

Good composition and DOF. Its an exceptional picture when you realize the distance you were shooting at. |

This would be a great shot if the blur wasn't so fake. 6

Seems very highly sharpened - they are all outlined with halos -, as is the ball. |

Too much 'neat image' or blur for my taste. Looks un-natural. The light and colors are nice. |
