Greetings from the Critique Club...
Hi Fadoi...
Good rule of thumb: If you ask for an in depth critique, you should be willing to include your own comments with your photo when you submit it. Does this photo not have any meaning or interest to you personally? If not, it's not worth asking for an in depth critique. You have to care about it before you should ask someone else to do the same :)
This particular composition feels too tight. Filling the frame has its merits, but effectively 'padding' your subject does as well. The spotty sunlight is working against you in this photo. The subject's environment is also not creating a lot of separation between it and the subject.
I spend quite a bit of time photographing ducks and geese at my local park. Sometimes I just have to follow them around (or let them follow me around) until the light and conditions allow some nice photos....
Keep up the good work...
John Setzler

Very cute... a little overexposed though, especially on his face where you have blown-out highlights. The rest of him could do with darkening so you can see more of the textures in the feathers. The whiteish foliage to his right in the background detracts a little, and the shadow detracts a lot. I think negative space is always needed in the direction that a person or animal is looking into. Here, you need more negative space to the left of the shot to give him room to look into. |

I like the attention of its eye. I don't really like staring at its back though. |

Very cute shot, wonderful lighting, the shadows on the duck add alot of charm to this shot. Great contrast and good eye for detail, like the dark spot on the end of his bill, great work. 9 |

That duck can fly, a sitting duck to waterfowlers. |

I really like the clarity and the dappled lighting in this image..especially on the head which highlights the colour in the eye....8 |
