| The lighting is lighting the background more than the flower. The blue cast it gives on the flower makes it look unattractive. |

| i find the floating daffodill somewhat disturbing - almost as though the image is part of a bad dream. i am being fairly inarticulate here - it is not that I mean that this is a bad photograph, per se, but rather that it makes me feel rather uncon=mfortable - does this make any sense? |

| Doesn't seem to be the best background color for yellow flowers - makes them look unnaturally green. |
