Very well done! I love super shallow dof shots, and you nailed this one! The composition is great (I tend to like symmetrical things and shots taken on the diagonal, and you did both with this one) and I like that little highlight in the background to give a bit more depth to the apple. Great job!

Another discarded part of the apple but this time wonderfully in focus. The POV, DOF and colors are right on for me in this ode to the apple. Don't try this with your computer. lol!
