Took the original, and converted to black & white, then I used magic wand and polygonal lasso to snag the upper right hand background to another layer. Flipped the layer horizontal and used Free Transform to move it into position on the upper hand corner. This was followed by Clone Tool, Blur Tool, and Smudge Tool to do the final marrying up of the two layers. Finally, I saved as a jpeg, resized, and saved for web.

This is a black & white rendering of one of my top scores with the addition of the background copy & move technique that is not allowed under the Advanced Edit Rules.

Enjoy! :)

i agree with trevytrev, a lower perspective would add impact... and also remove the car visable through the rear windscreen.

still a really nice car shot though!

Oh yes! Enjoy indeed! This is beeeeeautiful. This awesome car does feel a litte personified. It looks like it is smiling at me -- and happy to be so loved and cared for. Queen of the classic cars for sure!

Nice b&W conversion and a beautiful car, as always with your. car shots I feel that a lower perspective like used in some of your others might have had more impact, a bit more in your face since the car has so much personality.

Well, I think if you could have entered this edit in the FS you would have scored considerably higher! Great edit on an already good shot.
