This is cool. It looks like she's put on a hard days work in a hot and gritty environment. I love the dark tones too.

Not sure what you are trying to illustrate as being harsh here, but I like it. Maybe the harshness is life in general, and this persons dreams and aspirations are beating up against the hard wall of reality... (Oh geez, listen to me, I'm not that deep...)

I really like this "grunge" effect in this shot. I just don't like the pose for this challenge. If maybe she was a little greased up and portrayed as living in or working in a tough environment. i think that would make the shot for me.

Okay--full disclosure: I am a sucker for images with this kind of texture. I would like this with or without the model, and the colors, tones, textures are great. I might even like it better without the model.. 8
