 Spent way too much time trying to come up with something creative, and finally gave up at this. A candle holder in front of my computer monitor with my shot from the 'burst of color' challenge up on the screen. Tried softening the light in the room with some paper so it didn't have harsh glare on the metal (not to mention the white balance was a wreck with 3 light sources that were all different). Anyway.. at least I didn't miss the day!

The use of the monitor as a colorful background is wonderful I like the angle and the softness.

I both like and dislike this image. I like it because of the contrast of sharp to blur. I dislike it because I think the blur went to far. Nice effort on your part considering the obstacles you were dealing with.

I like the idea of using a monitor as a background - infinite possiblities - good thinking. I would have tried to focus on the middle of the candle holder instead of the front left, but it's still a good shot :-)
