Greetings from the Critique Club

I find this image to be emotive and compelling. The color tones are well executed, bringing out detail and textures very nicely. Composition is what I would say is the only weak part here. I just feel having the one finger tip and the thumb cut off has an awkward feel to it. But then again, it does keep my eye focused on the tar dripping cigarette instead of the tar stained hand.

Excellent use of textures on the smokers hand to help tell the story.

Filthy stuff the old cancer sticks. Good graphic image with a message.

This would be a great anti-smoking ad! Everything is great and really puts the message across well. The only thing I wish is that the cigarette wasn't so blown out.

This is a great picture even though it is hideous. The darness in the picture makes it's true feeling stand out.

Really like the gritty feel of the image.. The contrast works well with the edititng but I almost missed the tar[inclusion of which makes the image cooler] so that's the only part that I wish was better illuminated

The sepia tone works very well here. Good composition, only nit would be the hot spots which are a bit distracting. Great portrayal of the subject matter. This should do well.
