Hi Lorrie...
I was just reading your comment about the light not being good because it was overcast. I found that quite interesting because I do a lot of duck/geese/waterfowl photos and I generally prefer overcast skies to direct sunlight for them. I find my good exposures come a lot easier in even soft light rather than harsh sun. This particular image could have had some rough shadows underneath or on either side with direct sun... I just thought I would toss that in here and see how u felt about it. :)

a crop on the single duck would look much better IMHO |

Nice dof and pov. I don't know, but I think that a more colorful background would have added some more punch to this. But what can you do? You gotta take them where they are. I might have cropped out whatever that is up in the top left. |

Cute shot, love the orange feet on the front fellow, would have been a good entry for the orange challenge also :) Great clarity and detail. |

Real magazine? Sometimes I think people make up these mag names. :) If this really is a magazine, this would be a GREAT cover shot. The only thing would be to remove that rock in the foreground near the ducks right foot. |

Great capture, very good "magazine" front cover. It has space and everything for the title. nice colors. |

the 'white' area in the background would have been better cropped out, otherwise nice photo and good composition |
