I can see how some would vote 2 and 3. I can easily see a vote of 6 - 10. But fifty-three 5's?
It's funny, sad and odd, how a photograph which excites some of us is 'averaged' by so many.
Among your best, IMHO.

I've never commented on the rule of thirds before, but in this instance your centering of the subject just doesn't feel right. When I first looked at it with the bottom cropped off (off the screen) it looked much better!

Great composition, interesting subject and wonderful tones. I really like the darkness at the top of the photo. It gives an ominous feel the shot. Well done.

I don't think that the chair can hold enough interest for he centre of the picture.
Pehap if you painted it yellow. Good try.

Like the tones and texture contrasts....the chair is just a bit off center from the center line of the flooring (the spine of the back of the chair is just left (mine) of the center line of the floor). otherwise very nice.7
