I do love the color of this iris and the background color is perfect for offsetting the flower.

Thanks everyone.

The background is a purple sheet of paper with a snooted SB-600 aimed up at it from an angle. Nothing fancy, but it produces some great results.

Again, great comp. and colours here. You have the bg lighting aspect down perfectly I find. I'm learning from your images just looking at them. I've been meddling with my strobes lately and this is giving me ideas. Thanks
