 Didnt expect this to score as well as it did. The original was pretty weak on his face and I felt the image may be too soft overall to score well. Thank you for the votes and comments.

Here is the original for comparison. I think the odd blur on the image is from a heavy handed dose of Neat Image. Made it all kind of funky. Overall very surprised where it placed as there were many other images better than mine by far (see aimeethetoo).

Great contrast with the colours, especially light teh yellow of the eyes. Just hope you usually keep the plastic bags away :)

so cute! i love the use of lighting and the way the background and cat match... it is like it is a black and white when it is in full color. the cat's eyes are the real focus for me. the writing on the bag is a little disappointing and distracting, but hey, i'm sure you snapped this with no planning and thats how it goes with animals. nice soft focus at the bottom. if there was a way you could edit out the words on the bag, i think this would be a lot better.
