Good on you. The combination of shadow and translucence on the legs!!!, and yes, it needs the whole poppy. |

Awesome pic but it sends a shiver up my spine and I get really uncomfortable looking at it. I have arachnaphobia. No joke there. I'm scared to death of spiders. No way I could have taken this photo. Good job and congrats. |

Gorgeous! I'm a sucker for poppy photos anyway, but this is especially good. Very well done. The blurred blue background sets off the flower just right, and the spider shadow is great. |

Are we seeing his head or his butt? I think it's his butt. So this guy is mooning us, not peek a booing. lol |

I think it should be a tighter crop. In my personal opinion, whole flower is not required and it looks like spider is going in not coming out to say pick-a-boo. |

Good idea and great shadow. The Spider actually appears to be going into the flower rather than peeking out . . but hey!
I really like the colours in this, but I'm not sure the Focus is quite sharp enough to bring out the texture of the flower. I think for me that would have made this a really strong contender |

Dare I say.... technically... the spider is actually facing down. ;)
Regardless of the inane nitpicking, a very nice photograph. I always liked these types of photographs. If not for the challenge need, it would be nicer had part of the spider not been visible outside the flower. |
