Thank you everyone for the comments very much appreciated. Good learning experience for me. Considered that I'm really new to photography, all the comments from the Title to the Post editing has helped.
To Sammie this was taken in Singapore, my country of residence, basically most of the landed property here in Singapore look very much like that.
The title was a last minute attempt as I had submitted this really at the last minute and pretty much just cropped the photo and sent it in on the dateline. I do agree after looking at the shot, could have come up with something better. :)
Josevillacorte, I would love to view the shots please e-mail me when you've posted them.
Hopefully I'd do better the next round. Thanks to all and keep those comments coming in.

Hehehe.. i was right about Singapore! LOL... lived there for about 6 months. I'll post some of my Sing shots on imagestation over the weekend.. :D Its not a big city/country so you'll get very familiar with the ambience, people, culture etc. in no time! Anyway, better luck on the next challenge! Such a unique shot should've done MUCH better! |

the picture itself is ok, but the subject matter is kinda uninteresting... |

Pleasae explain your title.. I don't see the connection. Am I missing something? All that tiling is somehow restful, it is such a gentle colour. |

Yours is a really interesting picture. I'd love to know where these roofs are and am looking forward to reading the location when the challenge is done. I think if you increased the contrast and perhaps sharpened a bit the picture would be even more effective. |

Nice perspective. This would have packed more punch if the back row were cropped, bringing more attention to the orange and white lines on the rooftops. |

You need to add some saturation or contrast in your post processing. This looks very washed out. Neat entry. |

perhaps a bit more contrast would improve this |
