Another awesome water drop shot. I really like the background you chose. The refracted colors are a great touch. |

This is an interesting experiment with backgrounds and the water dropping. The center raised portion looks like a distorted rainbow kind of like a CD. The music notes floating in the water are quite creative. I look forward to more in this series. |

Excellent and very creative shot. Good timing on doing this manually. Lovely world within the drop. You should have saved this for a real challenge. |

I saw you shot at f/45? is that correct? That is huge. :) I am not sure how you set up your strobe but with a fstop like that I am sure it was at full power or close. If you look over this tutorial, even though it is for bird photography I think it would help you get perfect stop motion. I think if you put your sb-600 in manual mode and set the power to between 1/16th and 1/64th power and lower your f/stop to maybe f/8 or f/11. The drops will be perfectly frozen. :)
Good luck. |

I would say you are getting close to perfection as you practice. I love these shots. I look at them and my breathing stops momentarily. Might lean on you for help in shooting my own. |

I like this. I particularly like the musical notes under the water. What is the significance of those? |
