Didn't know what I had to do today for a macro. This morning busy with Led Zeppelin, this afternoon ballet (when you ever visit the Netherlands and like ballet, you should visit the National Ballet, if you can get tickets). Luckely Breeee123 posted a nice photo a cat tongue and so here it is: the sansevieria. In Dutch we call it "vrouwentong", literally translated "womens tongue", according to the English Wikipedia, most of you will call it "mother-in-law tongue". Never mind, if you ever what a plant in the house that never dies, take this one. Not completely satisfied with the light, but I'm running out of time now.

Intrigued by the abstract potential, but not satisfied with the lighting or the contrast. Lines are very cool. Want to see more detail in the shadows. Think an HDR b/w conversion of this would rock!

Hehe! I took a picture of the same plant, just another variety. I thought the name "mother-in-law tongue" was local to QC or at least Canada. This shot is so graphic, it would do really well as an abstract entry. I wonder how it would look in B&W??

Here we call these mother in laws tongue. Probably one of my favorite indoor plants. I like how you caught the different shades of green these have.

I like the lines and angles this macro gives us. Good perspective.

I love square crops and also the simplicity of this fine image.....

Interesting lines, and nicely controlled dof. I need a plant like this... something that I can't kill in a few weeks time!

I love these yellow and green lines running through the image. You see it's a plant and yet it's also an abstract.

In Germany they are called mother-in-law tongues, too.

Great colors and the strong lines lead everywhere. Looks like a pretty sharp tongue.
