Intrigued by the abstract potential, but not satisfied with the lighting or the contrast. Lines are very cool. Want to see more detail in the shadows. Think an HDR b/w conversion of this would rock! |

Hehe! I took a picture of the same plant, just another variety. I thought the name "mother-in-law tongue" was local to QC or at least Canada. This shot is so graphic, it would do really well as an abstract entry. I wonder how it would look in B&W?? |

Here we call these mother in laws tongue. Probably one of my favorite indoor plants. I like how you caught the different shades of green these have. |

Interesting lines, and nicely controlled dof. I need a plant like this... something that I can't kill in a few weeks time! |

I love these yellow and green lines running through the image. You see it's a plant and yet it's also an abstract.
In Germany they are called mother-in-law tongues, too. |

Great colors and the strong lines lead everywhere. Looks like a pretty sharp tongue. |
