 Immediately thought of Jimmy Page and the Cello bow when I saw this challenge. Contrary to the popular misconception of the "voilin" bow... it was indeed for a cello.

Lucked into having a friend with a cello (thanks Hunter) and called up Matt (from my Sixth Sense shoot) - as I thought he'd fit the bill for my Jimmy Page stand-in. He was sick as a dog, but stuck with it (thanks Matt!!!!).

Didn't have the exact guitar, so had to improvise by making a few parts for this one. Think it turned out pretty good - you'd never know it wasn't his Les Paul.

Came up with the idea to mask my Peavey amps with Jimmy's Zoso symbol. It'll be interesting to see how many true fans catch that one (i'm betting a bunch). I think my wife is starting to think I'm nuts - with all of the setup that I rely on her for (thanks Honey!).

Lit with 2 AB800's (one about 10' up from behind with a homemade snoot, and the other as fill down in front.

I'm extremely happy with this shot... so I hope it does well. :O)

I really like the angle this was shot from. Would like it not to be quite so dark on the guys left side, would like to see a little more of his shoulder and face.
