 A little artificial rose I found tucked away in the corner of the desk I find myself sitting at this week

hmm - a mystery.........where did the little rose come from? was it special to someone? why did they leave a special little rose at this desk? Behold the mystery of the little rose.

Interesting textures here, I find the background a little distracting and agree that a possible rotation and crop may have really made the most of this. I do like your surface though, is that you desk? Looks like it provides an ever so slight relfection...I really think I need to get out more! ;o)

A slight rotation and vertical crop would make this an even more interesting image to me. It is great as it is. And love the texture of the artificial fabric. Great sharpness and excellent depth of field.

That's fun. The stray pieces of white material in the petals are distracting for me. The lighting struck me as harsh at first, but I'm not sure if softer light would bring out the texture enough (which is very interesting indeed).
