| The composition is outstanding. The gradient in the background works really well to help emphasize the subject and the detail in the plant itself is totally sharp. |

| I love the composition in this image, with the lighter background blending into the tufts and the darker background on the other side. Very well done IMHO. |

| I so have to take one of these this summer!! I just LOVE the texture of the seeds. The focus is spot on and the composition with the seeds on the left and a dark BG on the right just make for a well balanced shot. |

| Your composition is perfect IMO. The DOF is great and the details make your image pop. Not only does your subject make this a very pleasing photo, the background with it's gradulant features from soft white on the left to black on the right top makes your photo unique. Great Job! |

Great detail in the seeds and I love the negative space juxtaposed against the curve from the (whatever you call the fuzzy floaty part :)
Edited to mention my wife tells me that stuff is called clock. clock?!? ok, whatever.

| Very nice control on the DOF and choice of the brown (roots?) as the primary subject. Can you get in any closer? The texture in those things would make for a great abstract in magnification. |

Great sharpness, now I know why those seeds so easily stick to things!
And it's great to see how DPC'ers from around the world take pictures from different seasons - we certainly have no dandelions up here yet... |
