Lovely! So much nicer than all the typical cardinal-in-snow shots. You put that lovely rich red to use, and it stands out nicely against the rich tones. Beautiful image. I can't believe it scored so low... |

I have a thing for Cardinals. I was 1 of 5 who gave you a 10 on this. On reflection it might have been a bit high. I too think the bird could use a very slight bump in brightness. Still a great shot.

I love the bright bird in the centre of a muted surrounding. Great focus on your bird, I could have handled him just a tad brighter I think. |

I'm usually not a great fan of bird shots, but this one is excellent. The red bird, the tones of the background, the details of the bird, the blur behind. Everything is perfect. My favorite of this month. 10 |

What a perfect title. Amidst the deep brooding of winter's chill is this burst of vermillion in the trees. WOW ( man I got poetic didn't I?) I like it a lot. 7 |
