 Lets see if I remember. It's been a while. In no particular order, I copped, hue/sat, sharpened, did a light NI pass, use shadow/highlight to bump the bird, used the blur tool on the background, to get rid of the noise that shadow/highlight added, resized and saved for th3 web, and did another USM pass. some dodge and burn in there, too, but I think that's it.

I gave 3 10's in this free study and this was one of them, beautiful capture, great lighting and bokeh, nice one ;-)

Incredible shot. The tail is a bit overexposed on my monitor, but personally i like the bright highlights. It really makes the bird pop.

I might have cropped it a little shorter and wider, it might help the comp, but that's a nitpick. This is a nicely detailed shot and pretty good.
