 Very simple set up... This is a ball that came out of a fountain (you know the ones that sit and swirl in the water bubbling up from below?). I placed it on a piece of colored cardboard from Wal-Mart, turned out all the lights and used a long exposure, lighting the ball with a flashlight.

Shot in RAW. Additional PP included cleaning up a little sensor dust, color balance, color sat, replace color, gaussian blur, a little cloning and burning on the highlighted areas, resize, sharpen, save for Web.
